Which way is west?

Finding the best way between Kirkenes and Tromsø is not all that easy. Last time I was up there was in 1994, and then in summer. Mosquitos, not a single patch of snow and endless forests. Thankfully we got some advice from some local friends, namely that mosquitoes are not around when it's -30 degrees and that forests are bad. Bad as in deep snow, scary in the night and hard to get a pulk through...so we decided to stick to lakes and rivers which are bound to be frozen and easy going...we'll see.

In any case, for those of you interested in waypoints and equipment lists, make sure to check back regularly, this website will experience plenty of content addition during the next week. And once we actually start, sometime after the start of March, it'll be buzzing with activity you won't be able to do anything but read the blog :)
